A shorter update this week, possibly thanks to Diablo 3. Unrelated image:

First up, we have Mekrath’s lair. It’s mostly complete, apart from some textures and props:

Secondly, Deril’s estate, complete with Lich:

And dialogues are still being worked on!

Apologies for the shortness of this update, we are all still working hard, but some weeks just provide us with more pictures to show than others. As always, you can follow us on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/bgredux or subscribe to us on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/bgredux. See you all next week!

It's pretty much stuck with the DA mechanics for the most part. There's only so much we can do in that regard. Where possible we try to make things as broadly alike in terms of functionality and spirit as we can, but no it's not going to be a full conversion to AD&D 2nd Ed rules/mechanics.

I just heard about this today, and what I'm seeing is incredible. You have my utmost respect for what you're doing.

A quick question though, I did read the FAQ but I didn't quite get the idea. Are you going to somehow implement D&D rules for it? For example, will the wizard spells be from level 1 to 9? Will there be d20 rolls in physical combat? Just curious, because either way this project is huge and it's gonna be awesome.

Thanks, but we are not just gentlemen any more. With our new found diversity we are now ladies and gentlemen.

I have been following this mod since the initial release of Irenicus' Dungeon. I purchased BG2 from Gog as soon as it became available. From what I've seen on these forums, your work has been amazing. My hat is off to you gentlemen for this amazing undertaking you have set out to accomplish! Keep up the good work!
