+ Excellent naval combat mechanics. + Campaign entertains for hours on end. + Glaciers and other environment objects can be used to your strategic advantage. |

- No multiplayer. - No land battles. - Small campaign map. |
| Overall | Commander: Conquest of the Americas throws at us a new alternative to naval battles. Little is more gratifying than playing puppet-master of a deadly fleet. It's the way Empire: Total War was meant to be - simple and strategic. |

| Epic | Very different from other FPS games. The only reason you can actually call this game a shooter is that you can shoot using crossbows. Very fun nonetheless. |
| Lame | It can get boring. The graphics aren't very good since it uses the counter strike engine. |
| Overall | It is a fun game if you are planning on playing it for 25-30 mins. More than that it can get really boring. |
