As some of you may have noticed, Steam is having another sale, with all sorts of games on sale every day! In such dire times, it is crucial to be prepared for the onslaught of potentially awesome games that you will want to buy. In order to help you survive, I remind you of the existence of Steamsale Saver, which will allow you to make Will saves versus any and all games on sale through a complex algorithm that takes into account all appropriate modifiers to your Will defense and to the power of the sale (as per standard 3.5 d20 rules). With any luck, you will be more fortunate the those in the image above, who were not using Steamsale Saver!

Oh, and there's also this thing where you can unlock stuff through getting achievements, kind of like Xbox live except with more prizes.

I'm more concerned that Gong actually wants Brink...

Also, I've had mixed experiences with Shogun 2 Total War. It's pretty amazing as far as advancements on Medieval 2 (I ignore Empire and Napoleon), and has excellent gameplay... but unfortunately, due to some sort of weird bug, I lost ~3 hours of saved data (and it was saved multiple times, too).

Dungeon Siege 3 isn't bad btw; I got it to review recently. It's a little bit too slow at the start for my tastes (as far as hack-n-slash goes, anyway), but it seems like there might be something there. You guys should definitely get Shogun 2 though. Of course, if you're more patient than I am, you can wait until it hits the daily deal bin.
