Im back with a brand new Game callt Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurais !!

I know there are many Players who like the total War Serial and the Players who says Empire is the best part of it will realy like the new part of it !!!!

This is not an normal Add-on , its a Stand alone what means you can buy and play it without the Groundgame Shogun2.

The big different !

This Game will bring some realy new stuff to the Gameplay and Tons of new Units and tactics !
You can play 6 new Clans and the timeage is set to the end of the 19th Century.
Japan is opening there Borders for the Industrial Timeage and the War is changing completly.
1.As you will see, you can play a lot bigger Battels with much more Units on the Battlefield.


2. The Train becomes an importend part of the Game ! With the Train you can move Armys realy fast from one side of the Iland to the other side in just 1 Round lol !!This means you can send Units in 1 Round from your Save Areas in the backround to the Front.

3. A real Big new Campaine with 24 different Levels !


4. The Map is made eaven better and there are a lot of new places , like The Ezo-Iland in the North , also the Map is completly changed because of the new Timeage !


5.Other Countrys becomes realy Importand in this new Game and gives you realy much Power if you trade and make a Deal with em !With them comes the onset of modern technology (gunpowder weapons, vehicles) and ideas (capitalism) which helps forge a brand new backdrop on top of which Fall of the Samurai plays out; an epic battle between tradition vs. modernity with the old school Shogunate clinging to power while the Imperialists attempt to overthrow it.

You can not work together with all of them and you have to make your joice. They are completly different and you will get not just Millitary Units.


6. New Battle-type : The Habor Attack ! You can Attack directly Enemy-Habours to destroy the Enemys Tradingpower ! But take care, the Enemy can use Artillerie from His Landunits to Defend !


7. Completly different Battles because of the Artillerie like Gattling-guns and Cannons ! But the most Powerfull units are also the Expensivest you have to know !



This all together gives me a Remember to the Movie : Last Samurai ! The movie was maybe the Idea to make this Stand-alone and you can belive me you will have realy much new gamefun in this Add-on.
You can play more then 100 Houers and you will not see all the new stuff of this Expension !


NEW UNITS

There are a Mass of new Units in this Game !
You have all together 39 new Types of Units.
1. 16 new Landunits !
2. 4 new Herounits !
3. 10 new Shipunits !
4. 9 new Campain-specialunits !




There are Cavalry with Guns , Infantry with Pistols and Guns, Light realy fast Cavalry with Heavy Weapons , the Gattling and the Cannon units and much more like the Merc-units from your Tradepartner
like the Brithis Royal Marines or the Us-Marines !
Dont forgeth if Samurais comes close to your Gununits the Battle is over if you have no Spear or Swordunits lol !

Navy Gameplay

The Navy Gameplay is also completly different to Shogun2 ! It’s now possible to aim and fire your artillery from a new centre-of-the-ship, third-person perspective – ship mobility is suitably sluggish (depending on your vessel), so you’ll probably want your fleet to simply follow your orders, but the rush of firing the killer volley from your ship’s guns in third-person mode is a welcome touch.


You’ll also be able to take third-person control of artillery weapons on the battlefield too.


There Are Explosiv and also Armor Pearcing Rounds and the Navy have much more firepower and range !
Range also means your ships can rain-down projectiles on some in-land settlements too, adding additional strategic opportunities.



If your a are a real Total War Fan, this Game is a must-have !!!!
Btw.: You will be not able to play the Shogun Civil War with Samurais,only without Cannons much Firepower units !(there are already firepower units existing ion the Original Shogun2 )
So if you dont have Shogun and your intrested to buy this Stand alone , it could be helpfull to wait a bit , maybe they put them together in a Gold-box in the Future ! I never want to miss the Battles of the Original , what is completly different !

Looks really interesting!

I played Shogun 2 a lot, maybe 60 hours, and then one day my game crashed and I just never went back to it. I saw Fall of the Samurai (looks like the Last Samurai to me, hehe), but haven't tried it yet. Seems pretty cool, though.

Have you ever played Shogun 2 multiplayer? I haven't tried it yet, but I heard it's very good compared to Empire and Medieval 2!

Yea i playd Shogun2 (just Online) for about 200 Houers , its one of the best total war Games for me because of the Samuraiunits. You know my Wife is from japan and i travel every second Year to this Country. As a History-freak with intresst for the realy Old History of Japan , this is of course a Game i like

The Onlinemode of Shogun2 is much more great to play then just the Singleplayer-mode , because Shogun2 was the first total war game where you could(and still can for sure, same as in the Expension) create your own Clan and create your own Armors and Collors , same as Your own Banner !
There are level-ups for units in Battles , with the Points you will get by the Ups you can give your units Powers same as your General !

This can end, that you will have low Spearman units which cousts more then the doupel then a Samurai Unit if they have high level. Same as they can beat your Samurais if they are on high level , what makes it realy importand to use light Cavalry on the battlefield , to Spy your Enemy , because its not usefull to send your own lower units in high level Unit !!
Man i playd this Game just for the Campain in Singleplayer and will play just Online , because this is the Best Online total War ever made ( in my Eyes )

In the UK we are getting 75% off Shogun 2 Total War and 75% of 1 DLC samurai campaign. Is it the same in the US Steam?

hehe, i byed this game yesterday, (installing it atm)
I played shogun 2 for like 3 months and i rly like it, much better then empire total war for me.
the single player campaign is very nice, still have to start to play multiplayer.
