Push -Pull Configuration Help. 9 months, 1 week ago #9387

Need help with the Corsair H100 push-pull configuration. Alright I have upgraded my case with a full tower case NZXT Phantom. I added another 200mm Blue LED Fan at the top. So the top the has 2x 200mm Blue led fans and the rear 1x 120mm fan in which the rear/top are setup as exhaust. Now how do I setup a push-pull configuration with the H100? Does that mean the 2x 120mm fans that I attach to the radiator I used as intake? The push pull configuration has me confused.

If you check this video this is what my setup with the H100,rear fan, and top fan would look exactly like.

Love my new case I would upload some picture when my new rig is done. Cable management is way better then my last case NZXT Guardian

Hey Nightcrawler! You're correct; the 2 x 120mm fans beneath the radiator should be installed in the intake orientation, while the top exhaust fans and rear 120mm should be left as-is. That way, you're increasing airflow into the radiator, and the heat that is lost in the radiator's cooling process can exit easily through the top of the case. Have a good time upgrading!

Awesome thanks for the reply stuBeef. I wanted to ask, hows does that work with the CORSAIR H80 push-pull configuration. Does that mean that one 120mm fan act as intake and the other 120mm fan act as exhaust. The 2 fan are attach to the radiator (pic below). Not sure if I was doing wrong but on my old case I was using the H80 with both fans exhausting air out.

The push-pull configuration for the H80 will be the same for the H100. So keep the fan that faces outward as exhaust, and the fan that faces inward (inside your system) as intake. The additional fan in a push-pull is there to facilitate the air that gets pulled into the radiator for easier cooling. Hope that helps!

Btw, you may want to check out Asetek since they make several of the all-in-one liquid coolers out there.
