I'm currently searching the market in order to find the best custom 1080 Ti card I can, because it's the last part I need to finish my build and finally enjoy it! I was full into the new Zotac 1080 Ti AMP! Extreme, but since the last review and video of you guys (GamersNexus) I had some thoughts about it. Since I'm also a huge fan of EVGA, I was thinking of the new 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid, which, as you already know of course, is a Hydro Cooled card and therefore you get a much better cooling than any air cooled card and of course it's the FTW3 which means it has the best clock speeds (and is the best card in general) EVGA has to offer.
Of course any suggestions of any other 1080 Ti cards are more than welcome, 'cause this thread is made so that I can't find what's best rather than just compare the previous two.
Thank you all guys in advance.

The "best" GTX1080Ti would most likely be the best performing. Which is the same as the highest clocking gtx1080ti (all the GPUs are the same). They get higher clocks when they run cooler. So I'd be looking for the coolest running gtx1080Ti. Which has to be one of the water cooled ones. Zotac Arctic Storm, MSI SeaHawk, Asus Poseidon, Corsair Hydro, Gigabyte Aorus, evga hydro copper.

After that, you'd need to look at how much they cost (or bang for the buck) . Then how noisy they are. Size might also mean something to you if you want to use a small case.

First of all thanks a lot for the reply.
I got quite a big case (Corsair 750D). So size is not a problem. I also know about the "the cooler the better" characteristic of the cards (Nvidia GPU Boost among all other benefits). Thing is I saw some videos and reviews from GamersNexus, that mention that size and better clock speeds are not always better. That's why I was thinking for the new EVGA FTW3 Hybrid and also because I don't have a close circuit custom water cooling that I can use for the cards that need one, which are also quite expensive.

Which of the water cooled gtx1080Tis is the one you think is best. And why?

As I told you, If I'd go for a water cooled card, I'd go for one that has a ready-to-go preinstalled water cooling (because of the reason I stated in my previous reply), like the EVGA Hybrid. As I've read and heard I think that the (water cooled) one that's the best among the cards that suit me is the new EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid. If you think otherwise please let me know 'cause your (or any) opinion might help me a lot.

As long as you've done your homework you should be OK. Have you checked reviews and benchmarks for all the watercooled gtx1080Ti's? Is the evga best on temps? noise? clocks? Do you like the looks of it the best? Are you happy with its price compared to the others?

Personally, I'd be happier with an air cooled card - noise, price and looks on top of performance. eg Strix.

I have and I think that the EVGA FTW3 Hybrid card is the best amongst them. But of course I'm only human (as the song says) and I might be mistaken, in which case your (or any) opinion will help a lot. As for the other matter, the truth is I'm more of a performance guy. The more FPS the better. That doesn't mean that I don't like/want all the other things you said like less noise, better looks and price. I believe, though, that buying a card like that is quite an expensive investment already and therefore a 50-100$ difference is not a difference that will stop me from buying what's best. But the more expensive is not necessarily the best and sometimes you may have a disclaimer on the water cooled cards and suggest an air cooled one as best (which I think cannot happen, but you never know) So, any suggestions?

As long as you've done your homework, you should be fine. I think you should be happy with the evga card.

Yeah that's what I think too. Any known drawbacks of that card?
