I am running an AMD XFX RX 470 and I was wondering what the significant difference is between WHQL and Beta drivers. I ask this because my card will occasionly stop responding and some games will say "No compatible hardware found". So when that occurs I have to run DDU and hope when I reinstall it, it will work. Gotta love the PC troubleshooting world :(

WHQL has been through Beta testing and proven to be OK. Beta hasn't been fully tested and proven.

If you're using Beta and having problems, try going back to the previous WHQL driver set.

Also double check you've connected the GPU properly to your motherboard - remove and refit it and lock it in. Same with the power connectors - check at both ends.

Wow that's too bad I've used the newest beta's for a long time with my r9 295x2 card never issues, maybe just the luck of the draw, right now I'm on 17.5.2 works like a charm with all my games..enjoy
