Name: Paul
Skills: Programming (various languages)
Country/Timezone: USA: (UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Currently a third year computer science student. Saw on your Sunday update (www.gamersnexus.net/bgr-home/705) that you are transferring text from Baldur's Gate to DAO. You mention that it is an "amazingly tedious job". If you would have me I would like to assist you in this or any other task you would like help in. I have never worked on a mod before nor have I used the DAO tool set, so I am pretty inexperienced. Despite this all I still think I can be of some help with my, admittedly limited, programming experience.

Thanks for your time.

Oh coolness... Dakkon!

Welcome aboard Edrahil! I see you can unwrap UV and work with textures? May have immediate use for your skills. Also, how would you feel about learning VFX for DA?

EDIT: Cant seem to send you a PM. Ah well. If you can send me a pm, give me your skype details if you have that and I can invite you into the chat group.

Also, if you want to head over to our wiki and register on TRAC, can work on getting you the privys you need so you can get the dev build setup.

Hi, my name is Dalia and I am interested in helping. I can do hard-surface modelling in Maya (although someone else will have to do Zbrush on it -_-') I can also rig (incase you don't know, rigging refers to both a joint skeleton and controls. Joint skeleton would be in primarily characters and something like a rope or a wire. something like a car or a cart would be strictly controls). If I may direct you to my Maya gallery at kimmuryiel.deviantart.com, I have some things I modelled, note I haven't updated deviantart in awhile)

Hi everyone,

my name is Chris. Originally I am from Germany, but recently moved to live in the UK indefinitely. I went to university to study math and I'm almost done with it now so I got some spare time coming up.
To state the obvious I am a huge Baldur's Gate fan and as such am interested to help you out with this amazing project in any way I can.

Skill set: Programming and scripting, 3D-modelling and texturing (no experience with rigging yet, but always willing to learn) and as stated above, anything that has to do with math.
Previous Experiences: I worked as an Analyst and Software Developer for a Think Tank for 3 years. Some minor 3D-modelling experience, mostly projects of my own interest, though I did get hired once to do a short project. Last but not least, countless hours of learning the art of Baldur's Gate and many many other RPGs

If you have any work for me I'd be more than glad to help out, be it scripting of spells/abilities/events/dialogues/etc., modelling anything from small clutter objects to whole chunks of the game, or just simple testing and feedback. Sign me up.

Cheers,
Chris
