Are you looking for an easy MMO to get into? Don’t have the time to dedicate to games like Star Wars: The Old Republic and Rise of the Dragonian Era? Want something that you don’t have to download? Check out Dungeon Blitz by Blue Mammoth Games, a 2D, side-scrolling, beat-em-up MMO game (that’s a mouthful, I know), where you choose one of three classes: the rogue, the mage, and the paladin, and go crawling through dungeons and in general giving bad guys a hard time.

Here's Episode 7 of Saturday Heat Signature! This time I covered Waveform, an awesome space-based indie action/platformer/thinking game-thing-hybrid. It's quite an amalgamation, but very challenging and has great atmosphere and music.

Get it? Great atmosphere? It's in space! It has no atmosphere!

... Sorry. Contractual obligation says that I must use at least one horrible pun per posting.

The audio is a bit messed up in this one due to some unforeseen technical problems, but it's not too bad. Enjoy!

It's been a while since we reviewed Age of Chivalry - one of the first articles I wrote for the site - and now Team Chivalry has announced their commercial venture: Chivalry - Medieval Warfare, a multiplayer, medieval frag-fest in first-person! And for once, something with the acronym "MW" doesn't involve guns. Just lots of blood. And decapitation.

jim-raynor-statueThe voice behind StarCraft 2's symbolic and ever-powerful Jim Raynor, Robert Clotworthy, has announced via Twitter that he intends to personally sign ten collectible Jim Raynor statuettes and auction them off on eBay for a charitable organization. Each Raynor statuette measures at 7.5" tall and is in full color, selling retail at ~$30.

Watching the countdown timer slowly tick down for the new Baldur's Gate game was agonizing: From fifteen minutes to two minutes, I watched and waited. Then I waited as it went from two minutes to eleven minutes and back down again.

Yeah, it went up. Apparently Irenicus is behind this launch, because it's torturous. The servers were undoubtedly slammed by thousands of gamers anticipating the newest addition to the renowned Baldur's Gate franchise, which took the server down for several minutes and eventually resulted in an extended countdown.

GN has officially declared this week to be the unofficial "Hard Drive Week!" Get excited -- or, you know, not, because they're just hard drives. I mean, how hard can a hard drive be, right?

This week will kick off with several features centered around hard drives and their core functionality. Here's a peek at what's coming up:
