I like the balance of the builds you GN guys come up with, but recently, the strongest GPUs you've used are the 7950 and 670 and you call them "high-end." You guys need 2 670s or 2 7950/70s in SLI/crossfire to really call them high-end, especially for Crysis 3. I know that not everyone has the money for dual GPU rigs, but I really don't see how staying under $1200 makes it high end.
As cool as a high storage flash drive may seem, 1TB External hard drives can be bought for $100, less than tenth of the USB's price, and offering twice the storage. New external hard drives are not that bulky.
Sure, having 4 TB on our phones, along with 16 megapixel cameras, a 4K projector, and our entire song libraries would be amazing, it will be expensive when it comes out, and just not practical.
And wow, $1337? Just for that particular number? How about a nice even $1000? Even with that, a decent gaming computer can be built.
Are RAM heatsinks and fans necessary? Aren't the heatsinks on the sticks enough, even at 2800 Mhz? I can't imagine anyone overclocking too much beyond that.
This is why I love GN. You guys don't just tell us what works better, you guys tell us how it works, and why certain aspects help. Plus, we everyone can get one-on-one help, and others can learn from that! Read More...
Love the new logo!
I actually like GN articles better than Tomshardware and Anandtech for learning about technology. They seem to do more extensive benchmarking, but there's no point in looking at benchmarks of products, if we don't have people like you GN guys to explain what to look for in a product, and help us decide on some good product options. It's you guys that know how to guide us to the right hardware.
Keep doing what you're doing!
Also, I like how the website is dark with light text, since it's nicer to look at and easier on the eyes (but I guess that's my opinion)!
Once again, awesome new potential logo, you guys are amazing!
Everyone out there, and mods and admins too! What's your favorite computer case, and why?
All these case reviews have shown me how different cases are, and how they're useful in different situations. I used to just think that it's best to get a cheap case, or get one that looks nice, but there are so many different types for different purposes, so I want to know what the community thinks about them.
What would you GN guys say are among the best looking cases? My pick is NZXT's Phantom, Phantom 410, and 820, along with a few other from them, and Raidmax's cases.
