As we have noted in recent reviews, the popular Asian brand Tesoro has been expanding into the North American market. One of Tesoro’s major product offerings that is now competing with established North American brands is its keyboard selection. With PAX South hours away, Tesoro has given us a sneak peak of their new keyboards: the Excalibur Spectrum and Lobera Spectrum.

The Excalibur Spectrum and Lobera Spectrum are both fully-backlit RGB mechanical keyboards, with per-key customizable backlighting control. These keyboards also feature instant record for each key, on-board memory (allowing for saving of profiles), and N-key rollover.

Overall, the Excalibur Spectrum and Lobera Spectrum both look to be identical to the Tesoro Excalibur and Lobera Supreme, but with programmable RGB backlighting. Since the announcement of the Corsair RGB series, RGB keyboards are quickly becoming less unique with the Logitech G910+, Razer Chrome, and now Tesoro’s new keyboards all featuring programmable RGB backlighting.  We will have more information about the Excalibur Spectrum and Lobera Spectrum at PAX South, so be sure to stay tuned to Twitter and YouTube.
