Some good news for esports fans, especially fans in the North American scene: Corsair has announced their partnership with Team Dignitas. Accompanying this partnership will be new Corsair products emblazoned with Team Dignitas' logo, something we’ve seen from manufacturers in the past.
Already available in Corsair's online store is their SABRE laser RGB gaming mouse. In addition to the Dignitas logo, this mouse is "ultra-light" with an 8200 DPI laser sensor (we are unsure of the sensor used at this time, but learn more about sensor tech here). Its eight buttons are also programmable with Corsair's peripheral software.
The other bit of Team Dignitas memorabilia available from Corsair is a special edition mouse pad. The mouse pad is of textile make with "anti-fray" weave to reportedly last as long as your interest in Dignitas holds.
Team Dignitas has been a staple of the NA scene for 12 years across a variety of games. Currently, they field teams in alive-and-well games, like League of Legends, Dota 2, CS:GO, and Hearthstone; they're even so devoted they've managed to keep an SC2 team together.
As many regular readers know, Corsair has been selling PC hardware for over twenty years within various market segments. The sponsorship of Team Dignitas may have only begun this year, but it's a bond they tell us they hope to strengthen. Comarketing strategy and sales will certainly do that.
