Renowned mod team “JC-MP,” responsible for one of the all-time most downloaded mods on Steam, just released in-game footage of a working Just Cause 3 multiplayer mod. The game's only been out for a few weeks now and Just Cause 2's multiplayer mod took years to develop, but the seasoned team got an early start on JC3 multiplayer.
Avalanche Studios initially indicated the possibility of an at-launch or post-launch multiplayer modes for the chaos simulator, but obviously hasn't publicly released anything of the sort. This acknowledgment was made back in November 2014.
For now, at least we're positive there's a functional multiplayer mod out there, even if it's still some time away. The mod isn't yet available for download, but can be kept-up with over here.
