Hardware Sales - Zotac 1070 Mini, $20 450W EVGA PSU
By Ryan GreenbergSome of this week's best deals are not on sale for a special price, but are just well-spec’d hardware at a viable price. This week we have a pair of lower watt power supplies from EVGA and SeaSonic on sale at Newegg, along with the GTX 1070 Mini from Zotac with a small price reduction, making it one of the most affordable GTX 1070s on the market. We also managed to find a Crucial M.2 SSD slightly discounted, and the Thermaltake Contac Silent CPU cooler.
Hardware Sales - Seagate 4TB HDD for $100, 16GB DDR4 $102, R7 1700
By Ryan GreenbergDDR4 prices continue to increase with no sign of slowing down, but this week Newegg has a sale on a 16GB kit of DDR4 from G.SKILL for $102. Sadly, this is a good deal in the current market. Non-flash storage devices have become cheaper as more of the market adopts SATA and M.2 SSDs, including a sale going on for a Seagate 4TB mechanical drive for $100. We have also highlighted a decent deal on a 750W PSU from Thermaltake, in addition to a discount on the Ryzen 1700 CPU.
Hardware Sales: SeaSonic 620W PSU $40, Intel NVMe SSD for $65
By Ryan GreenbergToday we have some more hardware sales for the weekend, including a SeaSonic 620W PSU, Gigabyte GTX 1070, and ASUS Z270 motherboard. An Intel NVMe SSD makes a special appearance in the listing. Sales are limited right now, particularly on GPUs given the precipitous launch cycle, but there are still a few active deals out there.
Hardware Sales: Plextor M8Pe 256GB SSD, R7 1700, GTX 1070 Mini
By Ryan GreenbergGPUs have been featured in the majority of our hardware sales articles, which is good news for those looking to save some money and still be able to play AAA titles at higher refresh rates. Flash-based memory prices have also increased since the beginning of 2017, though a Plextor M.2 NVMe SSD is on sale for $40 off on Newegg.
GPU Sales: RX 470 for $120, RX 480 4GB $185, GTX 1080 for $500
By Ryan GreenbergThe GPU market has been shaken up recently with the release of the nVidia GTX 1080 Ti and AMD’s inevitable Vega launch. Discounts on GTX 1080s and RX 400 series cards are available and widespread at this point, so we’ve highlighted some deals for those looking to upgrade or build a new PC in 2017.
Hardware Sales - RX 480 4GB for $150, GTX 1080 for $480
By Ryan GreenbergThe nVidia GTX 1080 Ti launched recently (we reviewed it here), and with that launch has come some price reductions on both nVidia and AMD graphics cards. We also found an ASUS TUF Z270 motherboard for $200 with a promo code, and 8GB of DDR4 from Corsair for $53 (also with a promo code). As we get closer to the inevitable launch of AMD’s Vega cards, graphics card prices will be important to keep an eye on.
Hardware Sales - GTX 1080s at $500, 8GB RX 480 for $230
By Ryan GreenbergWith nVidia’s recent GTX 1080Ti announcement and GTX 1080 price cut, graphics cards have seen reductions in cost this week. As stated in our last sales post, hardware sales are hard to come by right now, but we have still found some deals worth noting. We found an RX 480 8GB for $200, and a GTX 1080 for $500. DDR4 prices are still high, but some savings can be had on a couple of kits of DDR4 by G.SKILL.
Hardware Sales - i5-7400, Z270 Motherboard, 16GB DDR4
By Ryan GreenbergNewegg is having a President’s Day Sale with some savings to be had on things like a GTX 1070, a Kaby Lake i5, and a 16GB kit of DDR4 RAM. All sales run through at least end of today, so if any of these are of interest, you’ll have a little bit of time to act.
Hardware Sales - Cherry MX Keyboard $60, RGB Gaming Mouse $45
By Ryan GreenbergTaking a break from internal components, we’ve assembled a list of gaming peripherals on sale for those finishing up a new build or looking to upgrade their current gear. We have found a couple keyboards equipped with Cherry MX switches as well as some gaming mice, and even some RGB mousepads, if you need to have RGB in your set up. If neither of the selected keyboards meet all your needs, check out our Best Mechanical Keyboards of 2016 article for more options.
Hardware Sales - ASUS Z270E Motherboard for $190, Gigabyte GTX 1070 Mini for $377
By Ryan GreenbergHardware sales are hard to come by this time of year, but that didn’t stop us from finding a decent price on a new ASUS Z270 motherboard, a GTX 1070, and an RX 480. If you’re in the market for the Z270 chipset and a Kaby Lake processor, check out our review of the i7 7700k and i5 7600k. And of course, if upgrading from a pre-Skylake architecture, be mindful as DDR4 RAM prices are set to increase, as pointed out in our Ask GN 42 and in a recent article by Patrick Lathan on the site.
