Intel i5-4670K ($210): If you're looking to build a mid-range system for gaming, this is a solid foundation to build upon. This 4th-Gen overclocking CPU from Intel comes with an instant savings of $40 and a free copy of Total War: Rome 2. It doesn’t offer the i7's hyper-threading functionality, but can handle all modern games without concern of CPU limitation.

MSI GeForce GTX 760 ($240): In the mid-range price-point for GPUs, this is a go-to card when buying based on price. The GTX 760 has consistently performed very well for its price range, including on our Titanfall benchmark last month, where it took top place. Most games can be played at max/high settings easily with one of these, assuming one monitor at 1080. $20 instant savings with a $10 rebate card drop this down to $240.

EVGA Z87 LGA 1150 ($149): The EVGA Z87 will pair very well with any Intel LGA 1150 CPU you want to use. It gets even better with an overclocking unlocked variant (designated with a 'K'). EVGA’s overclocking utilities allow an entry into overclocking practices without having to pay enthusiast-level prices. The current $50 off plus a $20 rebate card makes your final price only $149.

Pick of the Week

Anker Mechanical Keyboard ($100): This Anker mechanical gaming keyboard uses Cherry MX Red switches for consistent and quick response time. White and blue backlighting will help match it to a like-colored system. It also has input/output for your headset and mic with volume controls on the keyboard. At 50% off, the final price is an even $100.
