Gaming Hardware Sales – Corsair 450D, GTX 970, & G-Sync Screen

Posted on March 29, 2015

Hardware sales for the weekend are more varied in product category than we've seen of late, allowing for a more interesting round-up of options. Among the listed items, we found Corsair's 450D mid-range case, an EVGA branded GTX 970, a 1ms 24” LED LCD, and the HyperX Cloud headset.

Corsair Obsidian 450D ($98): After instant discount (EMCAPNT46) and MIR, Corsair's mid-tower 450D gaming case drops down to $98. The enclosure is associated with high build quality and a focus on airflow efficiency, using its monolithic black aesthetic as a means of versatility in the home. We highly recommend this case for system builders attempting to stay within a mid-range budget.

EVGA GTX 970 4GB ($330): After instant discount, this ACX GTX 970 – normally $370 – ships for $330. As with most presently shipping high-end nVidia cards, EVGA's 970 includes a free copy of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (for activation upon release).

Acer 24” 1ms G-Sync Display ($400): Normally priced at $500 with nVidia's G-Sync module, Acer's 24” 1ms gaming solution is presently shipping for $100 after instant discount. The unit boasts a 1ms latency (GTG), ranking it among the fastest displays on-market, and uses G-Sync to smooth-out frame delivery and eliminate tearing. The display is only 1080p, but that's still plenty for most users.

HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset ($80): When we reviewed Kingston's HyperX Cloud headset, we called it one of the most versatile gaming headsets we've ever used. The unit uses massive audio drivers (for a headset, anyway) and ships with various adapters, plugs, and even a change in earcup foam, ensuring a wide range of device compatibility and travel friendliness. The Cloud headset, usually priced at $100, is presently available for $20 off.
