Gaming Hardware Sales - Graphics Card Sales, SSDs, & RAM

Posted on April 26, 2015

This week we found an SSD, RAM, and three budget-friendly graphics cards on sale. Whether you are looking to upgrade your current PC or build a new PC from scratch, we have you covered.

G Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB 2133MHz ($55): Fast RAM at a great price. 8GB is more than enough for most PCs today and 2133MHz would be great in any gaming PC, especially those contingent on APUs or IGPs.

Crucial BX100 250GB SSD ($80): Once again, Crucial has their BX100 Series on sale. This 250GB variant would be a great primary storage drive in any modern PC. We are now seeing traditional HDDs being phased-out as SSDs grow more affordable for just about any build. If you’re looking to make the change to an SSD, this is a great option to consider.

HIS iPower IceQ X2 Boost Radeon R9 270 ($125): Here we have a great entry-level video card, with 2GB of GDDR5 memory on a 256-bit interface and 1280 Stream Processors. This GPU can play most games out at medium to high settings and is perfect for games like LoL and WoW. The IceQ X2 heatsink will help keep temps down with the dual-fan setup and copper heatsink.

EVGA GeForce GTX 960 ($188): For those seeking a mid-level video card, this EVGA solution is on sale and provides fluid FPS at a mid-range price. Coming with 1024 CUDA Cores and 2GB of GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit memory interface, you’ll be able to play most games out at highest settings.

ASUS Radeon R9 290X 4GB ($280): As for affordable, high-end video cards, ASUS has this R9 290X on sale for $280. Coming with 4GB of GDDR5 memory on a 512-bit interface and 2816 Stream Processors means that you can play just about any game out at ultra settings.

Well, that's all for this week. There are many more deals out there to find, so until next time.
