All the forenamed displays are largely identical; panel size and resolution are the key modifiers of the SKUs. The C49H90 is the leading display of the trio, with Samsung avowing it as the first ultra-wide 49” display, as well as the world’s widest gaming panel. Moreover, all of Samsung’s new gaming screens will be among the first—if not the first—to incorporate AMD’s second-gen FreeSync 2.
As previously stated, the new displays leverage Samsung’s QLED technology, which uses nanoparticles that emit and augment light at different frequencies when energized by electricity. In combination with HDR, the panels are intended to be able to display a much wider, deeper, and brighter color gamut—Samsung markedly ascribes special attention to reds and greens.

In preparation for a market launch, Samsung noted a collaboration with EA game studio Dice, and Ghost Games, in which the developers tuned and optimized the displays for titles like Star Wars Battlefront II and Need for Speed. Additionally, Samsung will have the C32HG70 on display at the Ubisoft booth at E3 2017.
