GDC & GTC A Success – We’re Off to PAX East Next

I figured I’d write a quick blog-style post for those of you who check the site regularly for convention coverage and new games/technology analysis. We’re coming off the tail-end of GDC, the Game Developers Conference, and GTC, the GPU Technology Conference, and will be heading to PAX East next. We had some of our best convention coverage yet at these two events, so as a quick recap, here are the must-read articles from each:

These listed, PAX East is just around the corner and will be kicking off on 4/11 – 4/13 this year; I’ll be joined by Staff Writer Paige Spears and Games Editor Nick Pinkerton for this event. You can view the full schedule of panels at PAX East over here. The exhibition hall map will be online shortly.

We’ll be talking with Chris Roberts of Star Citizen fame (again, following-up on our last 3 visits), a few major hardware vendors – nVidia, MSI, Rosewill, Intel, etc. – and several game companies, like Ubisoft and Bethesda.

If you’ve got questions for any of these companies, let us know!

Steve started GamersNexus back when it was just a cool name, and now it's grown into an expansive website with an overwhelming amount of features. He recalls his first difficult decision with GN's direction: "I didn't know whether or not I wanted 'Gamers' to have a possessive apostrophe -- I mean, grammatically it should, but I didn't like it in the name. It was ugly. I also had people who were typing apostrophes into the address bar - sigh. It made sense to just leave it as 'Gamers.'"

First world problems, Steve. First world problems.
