Flash Hardware Sales: Corsair & Rosewill Sales, $30 Case

By Published March 05, 2014 at 2:03 pm

We occasionally post these 'flash sale' notifications on the site. They're not quite as big as our regular weekend hardware sales round-ups (see last week's here), but are more of a service to point-out worthwhile deals for the system builders out there.

There are a ton of cases and PSUs presently on sale via Newegg, including the likes of Corsair and Rosewill in across all of their market segments. Corsair's got their 500R, 550D, 300R, and C70 on sale to cover the budget and mid-range markets. If you're interested in something unique, the Air 540 is also presently discounted, and makes use of a double-wide approach to case design (so the PSU mounts in a separate compartment). The 750D is also worth looking into for those who'd like a large, quality side panel on a relatively clean exterior.

All the Corsair products on sale can be found here, including the PSUs.

As for Rosewill, they've also got a whole slew of cases and PSUs available at 15% off right now. You can find the entire discounted catalog here.

Of note, the Throne (which I'm presently using for my personal system) is marked down to $160 right now and is a reasonable case for enthusiasts. For mid-range builders, the Blackhawk Blue case (which was originally supposed to be limited edition for BlizzCon) is available for $90 with free shipping. On the low-end, Rosewill's old Redbone ultra-budget case can be had for around $30 with MIR and promo code right now.

Use code RW15CAPU at checkout.

Steve started GamersNexus back when it was just a cool name, and now it's grown into an expansive website with an overwhelming amount of features. He recalls his first difficult decision with GN's direction: "I didn't know whether or not I wanted 'Gamers' to have a possessive apostrophe -- I mean, grammatically it should, but I didn't like it in the name. It was ugly. I also had people who were typing apostrophes into the address bar - sigh. It made sense to just leave it as 'Gamers.'"

First world problems, Steve. First world problems.
