h100i hero fan

CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i ($90): In our last roundup of liquid coolers this managed to slip by untested as the CLC market fluctuated. Things have stabilized in the CLC world now (actually, we're giving away an Antec 1250 this week) and the H100i has emerged as a serious contender. This closed-loop cooling system features a 240mm radiator that will fit in most cases with a pre-designated radiator space. If you're looking to get into liquid cooling but don't want to do a custom loop, this is good introduction to it. Use promo code “EMCPEHG58” at checkout to drop the already discounted price to only $90.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 8GB 2400 ($77): Use promo code “EMCPEHG47” at checkout to drop the final price to $76.50. The RAM ships with a high frequency and low latency straight from the factory, ensuring superior performance for any RAM heavy tasks. G.Skill regularly claims the world record for fastest RAM on the market, in case you needed more confidence in the company.

Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm LED fan ($3-4): If a build doesn't have enough of a color boost, these 120mm fans can give it a bit more flair. These can be used for case fans or aftermarket CPU coolers and radiators. Translucent gray blades are used to increase the effect of the LEDs. The blue and green lights both have instant savings and a $5 rebate card to bring their price down to $3. The red LEDs don't have the rebate card, but the instant savings does bring the price down to $4.

Pick of the Week

Antec Nine Hundred Mid Tower ($70): This once-leader mid-tower case comes with 3x120mm fans with 3-speed switch control (1x120mm rear, 2xblue LED in front) and a 200mm fan on top. In addition to the good air flow, there is space for up to 9 drives, some of which can be removed for extra long GPUs. Unfortunately, this case does not have dedicated space for water reservoirs nor does it mention  compatibility for converting current drive spaces for SSDs; given its availability pre-SSD, this isn't so surprising. Still, it was once a forerunner and deserves at least an honorable mention. Use promo code “EMCPEHW39” to get $20 of the already discounted price. Add an additional $20 rebate card to get a final price of $70.
