Steam Halloween Sale - Themed Games at Discount

By Published October 30, 2014 at 6:45 pm

Valve's wallet-draining endeavors have started early for this year's Halloween, it appears. Then again, apparently Halloween is now holiday enough to mandate sales. The good news is that Valve's kept it classy with games loosely related to All Hallows.

The sale can be found here or through the Steam client. There are over 400 games on sale, with noteworthy titles including:

  • Fallout 3 & Fallout games.
  • Dead Rising
  • Left 4 Dead
  • BioShock 2
  • Devil May Cry
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines (we reviewed this one many years ago and liked it).
  • Spore: Complete Pack (presumably included because it was terrifyingly overhyped – though worth the $13).

And many more. Hundreds more. I'd buy a few of these games; then again, I always buy a few of the games and let them sit there, rotting in my digital collection, never to be installed or played.

Maybe I'm doing sales wrong.

Keep in mind that November is around the corner, so we'll inevitably get “Black November” sales from Amazon, often featuring games in a very competitive nature to Steam's pricing.

Steve started GamersNexus back when it was just a cool name, and now it's grown into an expansive website with an overwhelming amount of features. He recalls his first difficult decision with GN's direction: "I didn't know whether or not I wanted 'Gamers' to have a possessive apostrophe -- I mean, grammatically it should, but I didn't like it in the name. It was ugly. I also had people who were typing apostrophes into the address bar - sigh. It made sense to just leave it as 'Gamers.'"

First world problems, Steve. First world problems.
