Weekend Hardware Sales - $115 GTX 750 Ti, $50 1TB HDD, $20 PSU

Posted on November 9, 2014

Welcome to another edition of our weekly sales round-up. After searching the web, I found some pretty good sales on a variety of PC components. This weekend, we found sales on a hard drive, case, power supply, CPU, and video card.

Western Digital Blue 1TB HDD ($49): One thing I can never seem to have enough of is storage space. Over on Amazon, they have a couple-dollar discount on this Western Digital Blue hard drive. While this traditional hard drive is not as fast as a solid state drive, it is a 7200RPM drive, which is faster than slower RPM units. To top it all off, you get 1TB of storage space for less than $50.

Corsair CX 430 PSU ($20): If you are looking to build either an HTPC or gaming PC with low power draw on an extreme budget, this Corsair PSU would be a great option. While it is not modular and is only 80+ bronze certified, it does offer 430W of stable power for only $20.

AMD A8 7600 FM2+ APU ($98): Keeping in the spirit of HTPCs and low TDP PCs, this AMD APU is a solid low-budget processor. The A8-7600 is a quad-core Kaveri processor, operating at 3.1GHz and only 65W TDP. The Radeon R7 integrated graphics has 384 Shader Cores that will handle moderate streaming and low-end gaming.

Thermaltake Commander G41 Case ($30): If you're seeking a good-looking case with the basics of air flow and ample interior space for your components, this Thermaltake Commander case is on sale for only $30. The tool-free drive bays are removable to make it easier with installing and removing storage devices and to offer superior support for longer video cards. You can also fit a 240mm radiator inside, and it comes with a large clear side panel, overall making it an attractive low budget case.

Pick of the Week

EVGA GTX 750Ti GPU ($115): Since we are a website dedicated to gaming, it just felt right to include this entry-level video card from NVIDIA and EVGA. The EVGA GTX 750 Ti is one of the best low-budget video cards on the market. The small design helps it fit into most small form factor builds, and low power draw helps minimize TDP, while providing great gaming capabilities. The 640 CUDA Cores and 2GB of GDDR5 memory on a 128-bit interface makes playing most games out at medium to high settings a breeze. You also get $150 in-game currency for Strife, War Thunder, and Infinite Crisis with purchase.

Well, that's all for this week. There are many more deals out there to find, so until next time.
