Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) 3000 MHz - The Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB kit clocked at 3000 MHz is available on Amazon, at the time of writing, for $160, versus its usual list price of $220 (at time of writing). Alternatively, the exact same kit is on sale at Newegg for the same price through Saturday, November 25th. This kit has a black heatspreader, if color is important, and is timed at 15-17-17-35 for a CAS latency of CL15.
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) 3000 MHz ($90) - A similar and less expensive 8GB (2x4GB) kit of Corsair’s Vengeance LPX RAM is available for $90 through Friday, November 24th, versus its current list price of $120. This is the exact same as the kit above, only in 4GB sticks instead of 8GB.
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 8GB (1x8GB) 2666 MHz ($70) - For those looking to spend a little less or have lesser RAM needs, it may be worth considering this G.Skill kit on sale at Newegg for $70 until Saturday, November 25th. This stick is timed at 15-15-15-35, CAS latency of 15 and has a red heatspreader.
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) 2800 MHz ($140) - G.SKILL seems to be a common theme in sales this week, another kit is on sale at Newegg through Saturday, this one being 16GB (2x8GB) for $140. These are slightly faster (200 MHz) than the single 8GB sticks above, and cost the same at 16GB, so it becomes a matter of what you are willing to spend. You also end up in dual-channel rather than single. The 16GB kit clocked at 2800 MHz is timed at 16-16-16-36 and CAS latency of 16.
G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2x16GB) 3200 MHz ($299) - If you are looking to go big and purchase a 32GB kit, Newegg has a considerable discount on one from G.SKILL and features an all black heatspreader. This kit is two individual 16GB sticks timed at 16-18-18-38 with CAS latency of 16. Those looking at doing heavy multitasking or workstation use with either AMD’s Threadripper or Intel’s X299 CPUs this is a kit worth looking at. This price lasts until Saturday, November 25th as well.
Be sure to stay tuned for more hardware sales over the next few weeks.
