Cyber Monday Sales - 860 EVO 1TB SSD, Logitech MX Master, Corsair K68 Keyboard

Posted on November 24, 2018

Holiday deals continue today and through next week. The sales provide some much needed relief to the PC hardware industry, which has experienced inflated prices in GPU and memory over the last year. Some of the deals we found today include Crucial and Samsung SSDs, the Logitech MX Master mouse, and a mechanical keyboard from Corsair.

Crucial MX500 250GB SSD - The increased availability of flash-based storage has led to better prices, which is promising after the last year and a half. On Amazon, the Crucial MX500 SSD in 250GB capacity is available for $43. The MX500 has read/write speeds of 560 MB/s and 510 MB/s sequential, respectively. Crucial advertises a 5-year limited warranty on the MX500 line, and at a sale price of $43, at the time of writing, making this a deal worth considering.

Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD - For those interested and on a tighter budget, the Samsung 860 EVO 1TB SSD is now highly affordable. The 860 EVO 1TB SSD has read/write speeds of 550 MB/s and 520 MB/s sequential, and comes with a 5-year warranty from Samsung. Alternatively, the 860 EVO 500GB SSD is available, with the same read/write speeds as the 1TB, for $73 for those more budget inclined.

Logitech MX Master Wireless Mouse - One of Logitech’s older (but still popular) mice, the MX Master, is discounted down to $50 currently (keeping in mind that prices can change). The MX Master is capable of up to 4000 DPI, has 7 programmable buttons, and a Darkfield high precision sensor. The MX master can be charged via a Micro-USB cable and, per Logitech, can last up to 70 days on a single charge depending on use.

Corsair K68 RGB Keyboard - Corsair’s ever-expanding line of peripherals are up for discount on Amazon. One of the more notable deals comes in the K68 RGB Keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches. The K68 has a full number pad, along with dust- and spill-resistant features and fully programmable RGB lights via Corsair’s CUE software. At $80, at the time of writing, this is around $40 in savings from the normal list price.

Stay tuned for more sales and discounts as they appear throughout the weekend. If you hear of any deals let us know on Twitter or leave a comment below.
